Compact design
For the VRV IV S series, the latest prototypes have been optimized, with the 4 HP to 5 HP power model height reduced to just 990 mm. This style should not change both the appearance of the building and the visibility of the customer. Slim and lightweight, the new VRV IV S requires minimal installation space.
Expansion of the capability set for outdoor units
The capacity of the VRV IV S outdoor unit extended to include 8 HP and 9 HP to fit various room sizes.
Variety indoor units
You can choose from 2 types of indoor units, VRV indoor units and residential indoor units to suit each room and user preference. The combination of VRV indoor units and residential indoor units in a single device provides more options for simple and stylish indoor units.

Selectable 3 levels of noise for working at night
Mode 1-Auto mode: Set up on the Outdoor Unit board. Time for the optimal temperature to be memorized. Low noise activity will begin 8 hours * 1 after the height of the daytime temperature and return to normal activity 10 hours * 2 after that. 49 dB(A) (grade 1), 46 dB(A) (grade 2) and 43 dB(A) (grade 3) * 3. The operating noise level of the night mode you can choose.
Mode 2-Manual mode: You can input the start and end time specifications. (Requires an external control adapter purchased locally for outdoor unit DTA104A53 / 61/62 and a timer time).
Mode 3-Hybrid mode: It is possible to mix two-mode 1 and 2 according to user requirements.

High-efficiency compressors produce higher COPs.
1. The compressor is equipped with a DC resistive motor
DC Daikin inverter models equipped with a DC resistive motor for a compressor. Resistive DC motors use two different types of torque, neodymium magnet * 1 and resistive torque * 2. This motor can save energy by generating more power with less electrical energy than a conventional AC or DC motor.
Note: The data based on studies conducted under controlled conditions in a laboratory using Daikin products.
*1 The neodymium magnet is approximately 10 times stronger than a standard nickel magnet.
*2 The torque is generated by the source change between the iron part and the magnet.
DC inverter sine wave smoothing: Using optimal sine wave to help smooth motor rotation, increase operating efficiency.
Helical structure: The suction vapor is compressed in the spiral part before the engine is heated, so the compressor compresses the unexposed air to increase machine efficiency.
2. Smooth inlet chime and spiral fan
These two characteristics were intended to reduce the sound, the wind is directed toward the air outlet inlet to reduce the turbulence produced by the exhaust fan in the airflow. To further minimize turbulence, the spiral fan features a blade with curved blades.
3. Motor DC Ventilator
Compared to traditional AC motors, efficiency has improved across all ranges, especially at low speeds.
Flexible design and simple installation
Connect up to 14 indoor units
This is a versatile device that can connect up to 14 indoor units.
Note: The total capacity index of the connected indoor units must be 50-130 percent of the outdoor unit's capacity index.
Automatic run of tests
Just press the test run button and, the machine will automatically perform the test, including a check of the quantity of the stop valve cable, piping, and refrigerant. After the test finishes, results are returned automatically.
Simple attachment of the tube and wire
Specific piping and wiring systems make it simple and easy to install the VRV IV S system.
Special wiring system: a specific wiring system is used to share wires between the indoor unit, the outside unit, and the central control line with relatively simple wiring. The DIII-NET communication line framework is used to facilitate the use of advanced control systems.
REFNET pipe systems: Daikin's premium REFNET pipe systems make installation simpler. With only two main coolant pipe systems, REFNET greatly reduces the disparity of coolant flow between machines by utilizing smaller pipe diameters.
Long piping length
Long piping provides flexibility in the choice of installation location and simplifies system setup.
